Wondering what we're all about?
Since the early days of gaming, people have serendipitously met best friends, teammates, and even romantic partners through their favorite video games. These connections are undeniably special—so imagine if those magical encounters weren't left to chance anymore.
Goblins is a space for those who find joy and self-expression in virtual worlds to connect intentionally and authentically with like-minded people within the games they love.
Whether seeking friendship, romance, or just good conversation, we're helping you to find your people without needing to attend a Meetup alone or join a run club (my knees could never).
We’re not creating another faceless social network; we've been building for and with our community in mind, and are committed to keeping it that way.
Welcome to the Goblins universe. We're glad you're here.
Chaos and Cheetos,

WTF is Goblins?
Goblins is a social platform for introverts, the neurospicy, perpetual third wheels, or anyone who has ever felt like they didn’t fit in.
It’s a platform that aims to deliver what other so-called “social” media apps do not: one-to-one human connection.
Goblins currently consists of two parts where folks can be their authentic selves and meet new people.
-
The one-on-one invite: On the web app, Goblins can create a profile, search for other Goblins, and invite them to play a video game together based on their set availability.
-
The group hang: On the members-only Discord server, Goblins can interact with each other in a group setting and attend Goblins-hosted events. If a Goblin sees another cool Goblin, they can invite them to a 1-1 hang — like making a new friend at a house party (or a convention).
Real human connection is at the core of Goblins and what we do. We’ve made a promise that we will never commercialize loneliness, so we can always be there for the people who need Goblins the most.

Chief Goblin Officer
Lise Keeney (she/her)
Hinge’s first publicist. Has worked with OkCupid, Meetup, Activision, and Samsung.
Hopeless romantic with a love for connecting people (online and off). Powered by carbs, Rockstar energy drinks, and chaotic-neutral mischief. Loved Chex Quest, Day of the Tentacle, and became addicted to World of Warcraft.

Engineering duo
Rebecca^2
Former Twitch. Former Tumblr.
Our engineering dynamic duo has helped build platforms where millions of people gather- and now they’re stealthily bringing that experience to Goblins. Part infrastructure nerds, part internet anthropologists.
Very serious about tech stability. Mildly unserious about everything else.

Believes AI is like your most prized cologne... a little goes a long way. And not nearly appropriate for every occasion!
Grew up gaming on his N64 and HP computer, loves a Soulslike, and being outside.

Swapped culinary school for design (but kept the assembly-line precision) and found a knack for making the unique feel intuitive.
Fueled by caffeine and cheese sticks, she juggles toddler chaos, design sprints, and the occasional Stardew Valley farm. A collector of random knowledge with endless curiosity, she’s always carried an appetite for business and entrepreneurship.

With 20+ years in consumer tech, Prachi has led engineering on some of the internet’s biggest social products — most recently as Head of Engineering at Discord, and previously running LinkedIn’s Homepage and Feed.
She got into computers through games at six years old, which feels like a great Goblins' origin story.

Jossie has 25+ years in engineering leadership which included helming teams at Apple (Emmy-winning Siri team), Zynga, and Tile.
She's now teaching high-performing execs to navigate the competitive corporate world without burning out.
